Both companies will exhibit togteher for the first time at the ChipEx2014 conference which will take place in Tel Aviv on April 30, 2014.

The new agreement is expected to hasten time-to-market through local interaction between design teams, while lowering risk for end customers. The agreement immediately opens Israeli ASIC access to TSMC most advanced process technologies through GUC's close partnership with the foundry leader.  It also provides easy access to GUC leading services on a wide range of technologies from BCD and Flash technologies to high end advanced technologies such as TSMC's 16nm FinFet process.

The agreement also calls for access to GUC IP through Verisense and provides a full set of silicon proven SoC IP for all mainstream TSMC processes.

 ARM, הספקית המובילה של פתרונות IP לתעשיית האלקטרוניקה, השיקה פלטפורמה אינטראקטיבית מקוונת שתקל על התכנון סביב הארכיטקטורה שלה. הפלטפורמה האינטראקטיבית החדשה מייצגת את הדור הבא של ה"קהילה המחוברת" (Connected Community) של ARM ותהווה מרכז בו יוכלו המפתחים ומהנדסי התכנון לשתף פעולה, לדון ברעיונות ובאתגרים ולהישאר מעודכנים בחדשות האחרונות מ-ARM ומצוותים בחברות השותפות בקהילה המחוברת שלה.

המערכת האקולוגית של ARM כוללת יותר מ-1000 שותפים, מפתחים ומהנדסים, העובדים על פתרונות מבוססי ARM. הפלטפורמה האינטראקטיבית מבית "הקהילה המחוברת" של ARM משלבת גישה מאוחדת לשותפים, למהנדסי ARM, למפתחים אחרים, לפורומים, לדיונים, למאמרים טכניים ולקטעי וידאו. התוצאה הסופית מקלה מאוד על מציאת המידע הנחוץ עבור יישומים, פרויקטים ותכנונים מבוססי ARM.

"עם הקצב המהיר של החדשנות כיום, החלפה ושיתוף אינטראקטיביים של רעיונות וגישה למידע הינם מפתחות קריטיים מתמיד", אומר איאן דרו, מנהל מכירות ראשי וסגן נשיא בכיר ב-ARM. "הפלטפורמה האינטראקטיבית החדשה משלימה את תוכנית ה"קהילה המחוברת" הקיימת של ARM ומספקת פורום לדיון משמעותי ופורה בנוגע לארכיטקטורה ולטכנולוגיות של ARM. הפלטפורמה תספק גישה קלה יותר למערכת האקולוגית של ARM ונוצרה כדי לאפשר ניצול טוב יותר של הזדמנויות לגידול מסיבי הקיימות כיום בקשת רחבה של שווקים ויישומים".

הפלטפורמה האינטראקטיבית מורכבת משורה של תת-קהילות המכונות "מקומות" ("places"). לכל "מקום" יש מנחים לעבודה עם מומחים לתתי-נושאים, עם תומכים ועם מפתחים, במטרה ליצור תכנים, לתקשר עם חברים בקהילה ולעודד דיון פורה. בשלב הראשון בפיתוח הפלטפורמה תהיה התמקדות בנושאים הבאים: אנדרואיד, "משובצים", גרפיקת ARM Mali, מעבדיARM Cortex , "חכמים ומחוברים", יישומי SoC, כלי ARM ו-Keil, סין, חדשות ו-"מצא שותף".
