Tuvia Liran if offering consulting services in VLSI, with a focus on definition, management and follow-up of mixed-signal VLSI projects.
During 1984-1997 I performed several engineer and management positions in National Semiconductors, iSight, ECI, Intel and Tower. I managed several projects of ASIC design and productization, including architecture, analog and digital design, EDA and IP management, testing packaging and qualification.
Since 1998 I am acting as consultant, mostly in analog/mixed signal design and project managements. Among the dozens of companies I consulted are Libit, Mysticom, DSPG, Philips, SanDisk, Chipex, Virtual Silicon (USA). The projects I consulted and/or developed included high-speed PHYs (1-10Gbps), ultra low noise, ultra low power, all-digital DLLs and ultra high reliability (space grade). I am currently acting also as CTO of Ramon Chips, developing advanced rad-hard ASICs for space.
The sub fields in VLSI that I am familiar and experienced are: mixed-signal architectures, project managements, process selection and optimization, design flows, IP definition and selection, testing, packaging, quality & reliability enhancement and verification, cost reduction, standardization digital design and more. Solving tough problems is my hobby.
